Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ — German Rottweiler Puppies

Last updated: August 2026

How much do your Rottweiler puppies cost?

Our current litter is priced between $3,300 and $4,200 CAD depending on the individual puppy — see each puppy's page for its exact price, or contact us to confirm current availability.

Are your puppies CKC and AKC registered?

Yes, every litter is registered with both the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and American Kennel Club (AKC), and registration paperwork is provided at pickup.

Are your Rottweilers German bloodline?

Yes, we breed exclusively German-bloodline Rottweilers, chosen for the breed's characteristic heavier bone structure and stable temperament.

Do your puppies come microchipped?

Yes, every puppy is microchipped before going home, and we transfer the registration into your name as part of the process.

What health guarantee do you offer?

Every puppy comes with a 1-year health guarantee. Full terms are provided in writing at the time of reservation.

Do you ship puppies to the United States?

Yes, we ship throughout the USA using ground delivery, flight nanny, or airport pickup, and handle all export health paperwork. See our Shipping page for details.

How long have you been breeding Rottweilers?

Over 25 years. Our kennel is based in Haldimand, Ontario and has been family-run for the majority of that time.

What age do puppies go home?

Most of our puppies go home between 10 and 15 weeks, after additional time for socialization and an extra vaccination round.

Can I visit the kennel before reserving a puppy?

Yes, visits are welcome by appointment after a refundable $500 deposit, which is applied to your puppy's final price if you proceed, or fully refunded if you decide not to. Contact us to schedule a time to meet the puppies and, when available, the parents.

Do you offer a puppy waitlist?

Yes — if no current litter matches what you're looking for, you can join our waitlist to be notified before the next litter is publicly listed.

What's included when I pick up my puppy?

CKC & AKC registration documents, microchip registration, vaccination and deworming records, and our 1-year health guarantee in writing.

Are Rottweilers good with children?

Well-bred, well-socialized Rottweilers are typically gentle and loyal with their own family's children, though supervision is always recommended with any large breed.

What's the difference between AKC and CKC registration?

AKC is the American Kennel Club and CKC is the Canadian Kennel Club — both are recognized purebred dog registries. We register every litter with both, so your puppy's paperwork is valid whether you're in Canada or the USA.

Do you offer a payment plan?

We require a $500 refundable deposit to reserve a puppy, applied to the final price, with the balance due at pickup or before delivery. Contact us directly to discuss specific arrangements.

How much is the deposit, and is it refundable?

Our deposit is $500 CAD. It's fully refundable if you decide not to proceed before pickup, and it's applied directly to your puppy's final price if you do. The same deposit is what allows an in-person kennel visit.

What payment methods do you accept?

e-Transfer is our preferred method for deposits. We also accommodate other payment methods on request — you can specify your preference when submitting a reservation.

What's your return or rehoming policy?

We ask that any buyer who can no longer keep their Pure Rottweiler Breeders dog, at any point in the dog's life, contact us first rather than rehoming independently — we'll always help find a solution.
